*Update* Cedar trees removed from Whitevale area

On August 14th, a green pickup truck was seen driving out of the old quarry just north of Whitevale with a bed loaded with cedars. An estimated 50-100 cedars have been removed. The truck has been driving around the 4 concrete barriers blocking the entrance to the quarry off North Rd.
The Friends advise you to not put yourself in harms way, but if you see something suspicious please get a description (and/or photo) of vehicle and people involved and report to the Friends who will forward on to the land managers for follow up.
